Man oh man, do I love photographing the sport of paintball. It has to be some of the hardest photography I’ve ever done, but I can’t seem to stop and I’m always craving more. I was up at Paintball Action Games in Edmonton last weekend covering the third and final event of a new league here in southern Alberta, the Premier Paintball League (PPL). I saw some friends, some familiar faces, and met a lot of new people at this event. I’m also really excited that my name is making it’s way around the paintball community and I hope that someday it makes it’s way into some bigger pro leagues.
Until then, I’ll take what I can get and I won’t complain. Members of the semi-pro team Impact Echo were refereeing and I think everyone did a fantastic job. There was a lot of awesome action on the field and I’m really looking forward to seeing more from this league and it’s players. Big thanks to Roger and Brian, the organizers.
Below are some of my favorite photos from the event, but be sure to check out my entire PPL E3 gallery.
