Description:
Alberta Fashion Week was ready to make its mark in the fashion industry and were eager to launch their second event well above their first. They came to me requesting a poster design for their Fall 2009 show and wanted a fashion-styled design that would both capture the attention of its viewers, and then hold their gaze with the subject matter. It needed to portray the youthful nature of AFW as well as its uniqueness, while still presenting the AFW brand as strong and professional. Everyone agreed that the final design was successful and AFW later hired me as their official event photographer.
