Who Is Ian Harding?

After first obtaining both a diploma in graphic design from St. Lawrence College and a certificate in new media design from Sheridan College and then working as a graphic designer for almost seven years, a somewhat natural progression has led Ian Harding into the world of professional photography.

That progression started back in 2005, when Ian spent sixty days on the road with two friends and his camera. Documenting the world as he saw it on a daily basis as they traveled around North America, his love for photography was increasingly apparent. Having a natural eye for composition and detail, he then spent almost five years as a senior designer at iStockphoto, the world’s leading stock photography company, where he spent his time working on a wide variety of design projects that utilized his creative skills and drive for quality.

During that time, he was regularly exposed to a vast number of incredibly talented people in the photography industry from all over the world. Working with such amazing people on a daily basis as well as viewing thousands upon thousands of photographs, Ian was increasingly inspired to begin creating his own imagery as a hobby alongside his love for design. Later, as his skills evolved, he began offering photography services to his already established list of design clients.

Today, Ian devotes all of his talents and efforts towards creating beautiful, engaging, photographs that his clients use to market themselves, their services, sell products, and showcase events.
