Alterra Mountain Company was planning to introduce a brand new product, the Ikon Pass; a globally available all-mountain pass that no competitor could match in scale. The launch of the Ikon Pass came with a PR campaign that drove users to this new point-of-sale website and gave them the ability to learn about the passes, view and compare destinations, see blackout dates, and much more.
With a bold new brand ready to be shared, we designed a full-service ecommerce website that was rolled out in phases in order to build hype and anticipation prior to the passes going on sale. Upon launch, conversion rates far exceeded expectations and the Ikon Pass has continued to be a global success season after season.
