Glassdoor, the world-leader in offering insights into company jobs, cultures, and employees, was eager to pave the Diversity and Inclusion highway by giving both job seekers and employers a new product that would help break down barriers and further move the needle on corporate diversity. The new product, their 6th major workplace factor, allows job seekers and employees to voluntarily offer personal demographic information such as race and ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity, and more.
In addition, there was a strong desire by their users for employer FAQs, a feature that allowed people to ask questions directly to companies without trying to source the answer. Questions could be answered directly by the employer or by active employees and later evolved into conversations.
